Andrew was so wonderful and patient lol. He had three of us older gals who barely had knowledge of our cameras. He being a Canon user we expected he couldn?t help us with settings on our Nikons- but he knew them! He was a wealth of information and the group being small, we really got a great start on using our cameras. We signed up for the Dec class when he said he should be teaching it!

Our instructor was one of the most knowledgeable instructors I have ever had . He was fun, made things easy to understand, and kept our interest even on a cold rainy day in Spokane. I will definitely be taking more classes from your company! Thank you!

Title or Location: Arches NP, Utah
During the pandemic, my family and I took our longest road trip ever to visit Utah's National Parks. This picture is from Arches National Park. When I saw Double Arch I was mesmerized by its beauty. I wanted to capture the contrast and texture of the place. A color picture didn't do the job, but when I took a black and white picture, I was able to see a different face of the arch contrasting against the sky, and shadows in the rocks that make it unique. I was fortunate enough to take a trip to Rome during the 4th of July weekend in 1976. The Vatican was just one of the stops, but the light coming through that tall window was truly magnificent. Taken with my second-hand camera with black & white film.

Working on trying new things! Plucked this Puff out of my front yard flower bed. Used a small compact mirror to create the shot using natural daylight thorough the window. The black and white spoke drama with such a simple subject. Taken with Canon rebel t7 and efs 18-55mm f/3.5-6.6Settings 1/60 f5.6

Title or Location: Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary, Australian Capital Territory.
This amazing shot was taken at Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary during one of my morning visits at the Sanctuary in February 2024. The first soft light rays from the sun and rising of mist from the lake water made it to look more serene and atmospheric environment. The dead tree (snags) in the water played vital role in making it look like the ghostly scenes in Hollywood movie "Lord of the Rings".The photo was shot with Nikon Z7ii at ISO 100, f14 at 13 sec and processed in Lightroom classic

Been trying to capture an airplane going in front of the Moon for years. Still haven't got that Moon transit capture. There is something dynamic about this almost transit image I captured though. It almost gives the appearance that the passengers of that plane are doing a fly by and see the moon up close out of their windows.
