Andrew was so wonderful and patient lol. He had three of us older gals who barely had knowledge of our cameras. He being a Canon user we expected he couldn?t help us with settings on our Nikons- but he knew them! He was a wealth of information and the group being small, we really got a great start on using our cameras. We signed up for the Dec class when he said he should be teaching it!

Our instructor was one of the most knowledgeable instructors I have ever had . He was fun, made things easy to understand, and kept our interest even on a cold rainy day in Spokane. I will definitely be taking more classes from your company! Thank you!

Title or Location: Pike's Place Market, Seattle, WA
Working on a college assignment for Urban Landscapes while in Seattle to see my son graduate from Medical School. The piano player busking for tips hit just the right note and pose as I snapped this. I like that another photographer was captured in the background photographing in my direction. I also like that I caught almost every face in the image in the composition.

This was taken a few years ago while at work. I worked alone and usually had my camera. I was traveling south from Cheney that morning. There was ground fog as the sun came up. I had to stop and click a few shots and enjoy the beauty of it all.

Title or Location: Charlies Hut, Carneys Creek
As anyone who chases milkyway photos will tell you, they take some careful planning and often a lack of sleep. Charlies Hut is in the Scenic Rim. It's about a 2hr drive from home, and with the help of Photopills, we could see that the moon would have set with the milkyway still visible at about 4am. So alarms were set for 1.30am, coffee was made and off we went. I use the intervalometer on my Canon 6D mark ii to shoot between 15-20 images of the sky. The lens I used was a Samyang 14mm, set

Title or Location: Just north of Brechin on Hwy 169.
May 10 the northern lights hit a G5 storm, a KP index of 9, the highest it will go, and the best storm we've seen in over 20 years. I drove my 10 year old son north to see them, this was a chance of a lifetime. I managed to get several amazing photos. Canon R6M2, RF10-20mm lens at 10mm, 30sec at f4, iso 1000, manual focusing. This was looking more north-west as most of the bright colours could be seen to the south, west and just north of us.

Cremorne Point is always a favourite choice to capture the southerly sunsets with the Sydney Opera House and the city skyline in the frame. This isn't a long exposure shot but a motion blur added to the water in post production.

Title or Location: Stub Stewart State Park Hilltop area
This was the day of famous Northern Lights visible in most of the North America. Stubs Stewart is the most ideal dark area for star gazing so I reached there around 11pm. As expected, it was full of enthusiasts. The lights were predicted to be at peak between 10pm - 2am. Around 2pm, when we though the "show was over", the lights started getting incredibly bright, and that is when this picture was taken. Interestingly, the lights were bright in some regions and other regions were faded enough to
